Personal data that we process

BAMBU LIVING processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. The following personal data is processed: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, delivery and payment details. We only use your data for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you provide.  

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at contact@bambu-living.nl and we will delete this information.

Sharing personal data with third parties

BAMBU LIVING shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation.

• When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL and DHL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, e-mail, telephone number, payment details, address details with PostNL and DHL. PostNL and DHL only use this information for the purpose of executing the agreement.  We expect our third parties to handle your data with the same care as we do.

• We use IDEAL to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. Your name, address details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number are processed. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are taken to protect your personal data.

• Our web store is developed with software from Wix.  Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Wix has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, Wix is obliged to provide appropriate
